HELP the Environment

Friday. The day classes would end early and me rushing back to continue my slumber at home but not this week though. Today is the day histories are made. The day people are allowed to boast as much as they want. The day we vote for HESC Committee members and kick start the club. What's HESC you ask? Well ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to the newest addition to HELP's clubs and societies.. The HELP Environmental Science Club!! *applause*

Ok.. I do realize the meaning behind HESC sounds a lil mouthful so I'm gonna stick to HESC. My first thought when I heard of the club being form and having membership drive is "are you freaking kidding me? I'm no environmental guy.. I use plastic bags and plastic bottles and burn rubber and tear homework.." BUT after hearing about the club from my beloved Chemistry teacher Miss Pang who patiently explain the activities and things we can actually learn, I'm actually quite excited about it. So today was the election day and it was havoc in the hall. There were people cheering and applauding, showing endless support to every candidate no matter the post. After an hour of boasting campaigning, the verdict is out and a committee was formed. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with some of the decisions but what's done is done so I'm just gonna sweep all my dissatisfaction and beh song feeling under the carpet. Whoosah!

Take a Sip, Eat a Pau

My weekend is so boring. Computer, eat, sleep throughout the whole day, enjoying life. All my efforts of losing weight gone in an instant. (Looks like I gotta hit the gym on Monday) Skyping with Jon and the rest is a damn nuisance. It has become a weekend routine to switch on the computer and go on skype. We'd be talking about all sorts of crap. Craps like why is Om so harry and whether the lizard in Cedric's room is dead. Even my brother is laughing his ass off listening to our crappy-ness. =.=" I also got this awesome video from Jon. Whoever said that Chinese people couldn't rap?

Can you imagine Jon singing this song? He's a total addict to the chorus.. lmao! Btw.. I think Jin rocks!

Dreadmill

I'm starting love my classmates a lil more. I just found out today that we have a lot in common like today, when Mr. Lee asked if anyone did his work, the class just fell to a dead silence. Yeah, so I wasn't the only one getting sounded, I've got the class with me! hahaha.. Okay I'll admit it's not something to be proud of but it's kinda cool to have such telepathic classmates. We somehow connect thru the devil standing on our left shoulder.

After class, I took initiative to use the 30 days Fitness First trial coupon I had. It's my first time working out in a gym so I was quite blur with how everything works. Need some time, to get the hang on those wicked cool equipment. Did I mention how I almost roll off the treadmill? Anyway, it's ALMOST not DID. What's the difference? The difference is, one is embarrassing another is embarrassing + painful! Luckily I had Jared and Zamir to show me around and give me a few tips and tricks. They been a member for months already. Honestly, it felt really good working out in the gym especially the part where you can see how many calories you actually burn while running on the treadmill. Bangga giler man. There's also all sorts of dance classes available, sauna and "motivations" everywhere. Define "motivation" urself aight? I'm still considering whether to be a long term member or not..

Creamy

This morning, I had one of the sweetest dream ever! I dreamt that one fine morning I woke up, the car that was supposedly for me is finally brought to the workshop! Woo hoo!! I was so friggin happy!! My life was like perfect until I heard my mom screamed calling out to me. That's when it all went.. *poof* and I realize I've got saliva all over my cheek and I'm gonna be late for class if I continue to roll around on my bed.

Damn.. I wonder when will my dad fix the car. I really hate dislike taking buses..

Blue Valentine

Valentines Day. A day to cherish loved ones. Other days no need to cherish, just shrug them aside or play the "I-am-too-busy" game. Nope, I don't think that's how it works. To me, everyday is V-day when you have someone you love thinking of you. The more important you rate V-day the more ignorant you will be during the normal days or at least, that's what I think. The idea is to treat everyday just like the 14th of February. No need expensive gift or even candlelight dinner. He/she should feel romantic enough just by spending every minute with loved one. True? Surprisingly with the economic downfall, Malaysians are still able to spend extravagantly. How I know this? Just check out the long Q's at fancy restaurants, cinemas and big bouquet of flowers everywhere you go on the 14th. Seeing this situation I have mixed feelings, I'm not sure whether to be happy or scared for Malaysians. I was at 1 Utama and Mid Valley on the 14th and it was freaking packed with people. Is it me or do I see more couples on V'day? Anyhow, it did not stop me and my date from enjoying. Yup, you did not hear wrong, I just said date. It was a last minute thing on V'day. My date was awesome on that day and we conquered 1U walking hand in hand, side by side. Thank you for willingly spending your time with me during those times I felt at my lowest.

Friday the 13th

Since it's Friday the thirteenth, I think that this is a good time to share a ghost story. I got one and the beauty of the story is that it's actually a true story..

10 years back, there was a road along the old airport which was very quiet when the time is around pass midnight. Back then, there were lesser cars compare now. The whole highway there was said that it used to be an old Chinese cemetery ground and even till today, there's still some old Chinese tombstones just by the side of the road.

It was very late when this taxi driver, in his 50's, drove by the deserted road. The uncle wanted to call it a day and decided to take a shortcut through the old cemetery ground. He was not afraid because he never believed in ghost stories that some of his fellow friends told at the coffee shop during their break times.

But as he was driving through a trunk road, far ahead beside a big tree, he could see a lady standing under it. He felt odd to find a lady all alone in the cemetery but as he got closer, he realized that the lady was very attractive and wore a long white dress. She also seemed to be upset, as if she's waiting for someone. As the taxi driver drove closer towards the girl, the girl immediately flag her hand. The uncle stopped and asked the lady if she needed a ride. The lady nodded and the uncle being a gentleman opened the cab door. As soon as she stepped into the cab, he could smell a very sweet smell of flower and even commented that her perfume was nice. He look in the rear view mirror and could only see the lady smiled.

After leaving the cemetery, the uncle asked if the lady had an address to where she's going but there wasn't any reply and when the uncle look at the rear view mirror again, to his shocking there wasn't anyone at the rear seat!! Stunned and shocked at the same time, he immediately hit the brakes. He knows that there was no way the lady could have got out of the car as the car was moving ever since she got into the taxi. Confused, he looked at the rear view mirror and this time the lady was there again but her black silky hair was covering her face and there was blood slowly dripping from her face! The taxi driver got so freaked out, he floored the accelerator and was chanting prayers loudly attempting to rid the spirit from his taxi.

Suddenly, he heard a voice of a lady.. With all his courage, he took another glance at the rear view mirror and to his surprise, he saw the lady holding her nose. So, do you know what exactly happened? Come on, take a guess.. Alright, here's what actually happened..

When the lady was at the cemetery, she felt that there's something in her nose. She was looking for a twig or something small to dig it out when the taxi driver saw her. After she got on the taxi, she couldn't take it anymore and decided to use her fingers to dig it out. While she was nicely digging her nose behind the driver's seat, the cab driver suddenly break and she ter-poke her nose causing blood to start dripping. Angry with the cab driver she scolded him and that's when the uncle realise that she's no ghost, she's just a girl with a booger her nose!

~The End~

Question: What is she doing in the cemetery past midnight?

Answer: Who knows! Maybe she IS a ghost? Muahaha.. muahahaha..

Ok la.. if you really are in the mood for true ghost stories, click here. The stories are not bad and some actually gives me the creeps. =.="

Refurbished

Tadaa! Total makeover!! Shocked? Told ya I'm renovating but anyway thanks for the patience. This blog is back in business again! Did I tell you how much I love the greennery of the blog? They look so peace and calm.. Ahh.. Look! Now ur just a click away from viewing/adding my profile in Friendster and Facebook. Although I'm really inactive in Friendster but don't worry, I'll still approve if there's anyone adding me. Add me in facebook though, I need more people in my Mob Wars and to play Poker with.. muahahahaha.. While modifying, I messed around with the widgets html codes and resulted into me losing all my blog links. Stupidity. So, please drop a comment with the web link if I've accidentally left anyone out, aight?

Story of Kuachi and Mandarin Oranges

1st Day of CNY
Woke up early in the morning to wish my parents “Keong Hee Huat Chai!!”. Put on my fresh new clothes and off to Thean Hou temple. Just like every year, we later head to my uncle’s place at Kajang. His ang pau is always my first victim.. Muahahahhaha! We spent the whole day there and eventually had dinner together. Simple yet sweet.

2nd Day of CNY
Like a walking zombie, I was awakened and had to get ready because we’re gonna go back to mummy’s home. 2nd day of CNY is always my favorite cause I just love the loud and crowded atmosphere there. My mom has 11 siblings all together, meaning I have 5 uncles and 5 aunties (don’t ask where another 1 is because that would be my mom!) So every year it’s very merry there and I just enjoy the kampung feeling, away from hectic city life. One of my cousin even dragged along his lil girlfriend to show my grandma and he was all blushes when all my uncle aunty started teasing him. Damn, I'm losing out just by staying single. Anyway, it was a fun filled laughter day..

3rd Day – 5th Day of CNY
Pangkor Island. A last minute thing planned by mom and her sisters (my aunts). Since it’s been a while since we’ve had a holiday together, my mom thought it would be a good idea to plan a trip to somewhere far away. 3 cars tailing each other throughout the whole journey to Lumut before embarking on a ferry towards Pangkor. We rented a van to go sightseeing with my cousins and I even went fishing with my uncle. This isn’t my 1st time at Pangkor so I’m not really that excited throughout the whole trip. Overall I would label this trip as a laid back, berbonding session.

5th – 6th Day of CNY
On the last day, dad decided to check out earlier than the rest of my uncles because he wants to make a detour to.. to.. Ipoh! Yaay~! Ipoh is my dad’s hometown and my 2nd fav place because there's lots of good FOOD there!! Since Ipoh is just 30mins from Lumut, why not? Hahaha.. We did went visiting a couple of relative’s place and ate Ipoh Hor Fun for lunch. Dinner was Yee Sang at famous Tuck Kee restaurant! Woo hoo!! It was my 1st time Yee Sang this year.. After dinner, my sister and I stayed over at Jamie’s place while my parent heads back to KL. Instead, we'll be accompanying Jamie back to KL on the following day. To be honest, the journey back home actually makes this whole trip worthwhile with me, my sister and Jamie laughing our hearts out at each others joke in the car.

my breakfast: dry curry mee.. slurp!

7th Day of CNY
Calvin, Kean Mun and Siow came over to my place. We watched Money Not Enough 2 and Kung Fu Mahjong while playing Mahjong! Kejap laughing, kejap serious, kejap angry, kejap sad. lol! What a great way to celebrate Chinese New Year.. Pong ar! Liku Liku!
