Nineteen the Age To Be

I would like to extend my utmost sincere apology to my faithful blog readers. Sry for neglecting my blog for the past week. It's been a real hectic week all of a sudden. Whenever I had free time it's way past midnight when I'm absolutely not in the right state of mind to blog. Heck, I'm forcing myself to blog now at 12.58am for the sake of updating and avoid anymore harsh criticism from 'impatient people'! (you know who you are.. haha!)

Since MY birthday is the most important of all, this post is dedicated to the steamboat gathering with my gay buddies (whom we've been associating for more than 5 years). Despite plans to go for clubbing and/or bar hopping, we've ended up gathering for a steamboat buffet at Sunway Mentari as my birthday inconveniently falls on a weekday (some people still have classes the next day). If you think it's going to be all about getting ourselves stuffed that night then you are VERY VERY wrong! Although we did eventually fill ourselves with hell lot of food but we unexpectedly had a lot of FUN! We laugh, we snort, we cook, we shout, we feed each other, we suffered stomach cramps from excessive laughing etc etc..

Cannot imagine? This is when I put up pics from my trigger happy during the whole of that night.. Enjoy ^^

I would also like to express my gratitude to all the gifts I've receive that night.. Thank you Fatty Jon and Aaron for the MJ album, Calvin and Poly for the DVD and Soundtrack CD. I never expect to receive anything because to me, having my best friends around me on my b'day is a blessing itself anything else is a bonus. So thank you everyone that made that night, memorable! ^^

Update:

I just can't help but to show off my lovely pressie..

thanks again people! =)

I Know, I Know

It's been a busy weekend for me.. Didn't get the time to even update. Aside from result day, there's other "better" events like Om's surprise birthday party. Had so much fun on that night. Om was hilarious thinking he's going for our usual futsal game. There's so many pictures for me to edit so you guys will have to be patient if you want to see pics.

Then there's movie with my gay pal Naz. It's his and MY favorite time of the year, the month of Ramadhan. Where he will have to sit and watch me eat, drink to my hearts content. Don't you just hate me? =) Anyway, to help the poor fellow kill time. We went for a movie for the first time in Tropicana Mall. Yeap, it's our first time there, what the hell rite? Just give it a go la. I was really curious at first but it was darn boring there. Nothing fun for us to venture in that newly opened mall. Well, like they say.. curiosity kills! We just went there, bought tickets, walk about the seemingly empty mall and home after movie. No wonder people stop going there after a while. Alrite! Back to our usual spot, Mid Valley! ^^

Did I tell you how much I love the month of Ramadhan? Yeap, the aromatic scent coming from the burning Ayam Percik, the sight of those juicy Roti John.. Argh! It kills me just to talk about it. I only had one regret though, apparently my favorite food bears the same name as a fatty I know. Disgusting just to think of him when I'm eating. Yes Jon, I'm talking about you! Nevertheless, it gives me great pleasure to contribute to the traffic jam by the side of the road at my place here. I just had to get my hands on them, no matter what! *Nyam* =P (I think the stall uncle recognize me..)

Before I end this post, I would like to welcome Kim Minseo back to Malaysia! "Mia!! Anyeonghosaeyo!" You've got a lot of K-pop explanation to do.. =)

New Season Has Begun

Hello.. I'm well and I'm back. So is the new premier league season. It's the beginning of the Red Devils' journey as they cruise their way to the 4th premiere league title overtaking Liverpool's tally. They took a small step forward by winning a marginal 1-0 victory over newly promoted Birmingham, earlier. Ahh.. sweet smell of victory, it's good to be back! =)

Throughout my "sick period" I've been on Youtube day and night watching 1 night 2 days and K-pop vids. Mia is always so kind to introduce me new vids on my facebook wall. Thanks again Mia! My current new addiction: Girls' Generation. Better know as SNSD (So Nyuh Shi Dae) in Korea.

Ahh.. all 9 of them are so pwetty and hot and their music is so awesome! Every single one of their songs have a different genre. Gee was more cute and amiable while their new album Genie (Tell Me Your Wish) was more mature and sexay! It's sad to know that SNSD is currently on hold from anything major. The 9 angelic girls are going to lay low for a while, probably taking a break from their 2nd mini-album promotion they've been doing past months.

SNSD - Genie (Tell Me Your Wish)

2NE1 is not bad. They are the produced under the same group as Big Bang. Girls would probably know whose Big Bang as they had been on the surface of music charts for years already. Check out their latest song "I Don't Care" which is currently Korea's No. 1 song on Music Bank, just above my fav SNSD girls.

2NE1 - I Don't Care

Ever heard of Craig David's Insomnia? It has like a million view count on Youtube and I just heard it a few days ago. How lame of me. A great song by Craig David. Craig also requested Korean pop star WheeSung to come up with a Korean version of Insomnia and the result? *TWO THUMBS UP!* =)

WheeSung - Insomnia (Korean ver.)

I'm thinking should I drop by college tomorrow for the Uni of Sydney talk since I'm still on my holiday. Every bones in my body feels so heavy and my mind is telling me to sleep in tomorrow till late in the afternoon. Hah.. how relaxing yet unhealthy lifestyle..

ABC Easy As 123

*Burp!* "Ahh.." just got back from mouth watering Kuey Teow soup at Gasing, damn shiok!

Kick start 3 week worth of sem break by waking up early to have breakfast with the bunch. The food took 10mins to finish but we only leave after an hour there. So much to crap about although we just had futsal on the previous night. I'm still figuring how to spend my hols effieciently and productively. I'm expecting a call from MPH to work part time during the warehouse sale. Just trying to make a few extra cash. A lil extra pocket money never hurt anyone, rite? ;) I have a lot of movies to catch up on, never really had the time and company to do it but I'm going to end my movie-drought with the premiere screening of "Up" coming UP come Tuesday! hahaha.. get it? UP? Coming UP?! =.=" (lame chop!).

In conjuction with the start of my sem break, I am going to share my thoughts with you on how to pose in pictures. This may sound easy for the girls but as for guys, we usually succumb to posing in a rather "macho" way or rather stiff. Why? Because it's easier, more effective and most importantly we don't have to reveal much facial details like pimples, zits, oily forehead or worse.. hair hanging from inside the nose because for most guys, we don't give much attention to little details like that and it's a matter of fact. Therefore in my opinion, it's important guys know how to "act" in front of the camera because a good pose leads to a great picture and great picture well, expose your sexy side which can further proceed to girls admiring, no?

So here's 3 easy step for men to give a great pose for a great picture.

1. Don't forget to smile.

A good smile brings the impression that you're carefree and in a very jolly mood. It lightens the picture even if it's taken in a back alley of Chow Kit road. Give a wide smile but don't overdo it. It's like talking to girls, have a little sense of humor, crack jokes once in a while but don't overdo it with lame jokes from your memory bank like knock knock and chicken cross the road type of joke. Smile but not too much.. just wide enough to show, "hey look at me! Cheese~".

Too Much

Just Nice

2. Finger gestures.

The choice of finger gestures is also vital in playing the kawaii (cute) role. Don't pose like a crapper I mean rapper and hope your picture would eventually be cute enough to kill. Girls like it when guys know how to join them in the who-is-cuter-in-the-picture contest Guys enjoy using the international finger when taking pictures and I must say it's one of the worse choice you can ever pick. Classic "peace" sign (^^v) is my favorite and also the sunflower style (two palms support chin) is a choice to consider. For amateurs, you can try practicing the great "1 to 10 rule" with your fingers while posing in front of a mirror which I did during my schooling days out of nuisance.

3. Use props

Props can be found lying anywhere around you. Grab anything you feel is appropriate and it can give a certain boost in the picture depending on the stuff you use. Stuff like shades, hats, beanie or even umbrella can be really effective in creating that extra "Ohmph!".

beanie

umbrella

latest addition: ladies shade! X)

By practising step no. 1, 2 and 3 that I've just entrusted to you guys, you should be able to look outstanding in pics in no time. Any question you can reach me at 1-800-ICAMWHORE, I repeat 1-800-ICAMWHORE or leave a comment here ataupun balls wall at my facebook.

Snooze

I fell asleep in the bus today, standing!

I was leaning against the window and for the first 5 min of the journey, everything was seemingly fine but after that, I felt really sleepy.. -.- (must be last night's project..) Chem project la! What are you smiling about?? The next thing I know, I almost drop to my knees and it was super-embarrassing to jolt all of the sudden like that, in a quiet bus. Everyone's head turn to my corner and I obviously maintain macho, as though nothing happened. To support myself, I actually leaned against a man standing in front of me.. hahaha.. He probably thought I was taking "advantage" of him. Still maintaining my macho-ness I plug in my phone and blast the music and it worked! Stayed awake ever since.. Muahahaha..

Think you can sleep while standing better than me? Try it tonight and let me know.. Just make sure you don't hit your head on your way down.

Before I end my post and realm into my "wonderland", I would like to apologize for the use of my abusive language in my last post. For those that actually follow my blog for the past two years, would probably be familiar that my blog is often not always UMUM (U) which means "sesuai untuk semua lapisan masyarakat". So, some of you might be a little disappointed or taken back with my conduct of vulgar words but I want you guys to know that I didn't mean to offend anyone indirectly. That was the product when you are blogging in a state of HULK-ish anger. "Hontoni gomenasai!" (So Sorry!!)

I would also like to express my gratitude to those of you sincerely concerned about me and I'm glad to say that I'm alrite! Woo sah~

And to the curious ones, I did not buy an illegal revolver from a dark alley and kill them, they are after all still my friends. I'm sure soon everything would be cleared up. Besides, I'm bad at staying mad at someone, I find it too tiring probably that explains why most of the time you'll find me in a rather jovial mood but please.. please.. never try to go overboard. I hate to burst your bubbles but I am not going to reveal their names even if you ask me quietly in person. It's PLIVERT & CONFIDENSHELL! "Typo? I know."

*ignorant isn't bliss, it's cruel cause life's too short to stay mad at someone..

Hurt

I'm stupid and defenseless?

FUCK YOU!

Treated you like real close friends and I get your, "stupid and defenseless" for exchange? I'm trying hard to blend in and you guys are fucking pushing me away! Well, FUCK this and FUCK YOU! You didn't make me feel bad, you've just make me see clearly your true self.

You wanna know what made me this mad? This is how it started..

(in order to protect their identities, random alphabets are used to replace their names)

X was irritating me in public and when I ask him to stop he ask, "why you let Z irritate you and not me?"

I was a little shock with his question and I told X i didn't like it at all. Then I ask, "why would you guys wanna irritate me anyway?" I've always been longing to know..

Y who was next to him answered in a swift and seemingly honest manner, "because you're stupid and don't know how to defend yourself.."

".............."

and you know what's worse? They don't have any sign of guilt from their confession which happened right in front of my FUCKING face! They were practically chuckling and abusing the word "sorry", to be precise.. it was "sorry la.. hahaha.. sorry la.."

Alright, so you be the judge. Am I the sensitive one or are they being just a little too insensitive for other people's feeling? I'm tired and I'm going to bed.

*You shouldn't have reveal your ugly side so easily because I'm yet to show you mine.

Wild Ferrell

I've just done watching a special broadcast of Man vs Wild on Discovery and what makes this episode so "special", is not Bear drinking his own urine or even feeding on live maggots, oh no no no.. It's the appearance of Hollywood's funny man, Will Ferrell! Yes, it's that dude from "Blades of Glory" and the upcoming blockbuster comedy remake, "Land of the Lost".

The fact that Will is going to be literally "dropped" into the far north of the freezing Arctic circle is just inevitable to miss out on. He is of course not alone, survivor specialist, Bear Grylls will have to guide him through 48 hours of wilderness based on solely the limited supplies they have and skills developed over the years since his (Bear) SAS times.

Here's the gist of it..

I've always been a fan of Man vs Wild. It's great to see how Bear improvise natural resources like trees and dead carcass to survive the wilderness and the introduction of Will Ferrell is just like a bonus. Just when you thought you've seen it all, they "throw in" a VIP. Will Ferrell is ever so funny despite being in tough situation, never fails to crack up the audience at home, specifically people like me and my brother.

Usually during every Man vs Wild, I would picture myself doing what Bear would be doing. You know, just cover his head with my own and try to IMAGINE how it feels to be climbing trees, eating gross stuff, hunting for livestock, canoeing off a steep river stream, sliding down at high speed off an avalanche but deep down I know it's actually not as easy as it may seem. You cannot just jump off a helicopter with a parachute or wander around aimlessly into the dense island jungle, you'd be lucky if you survive that jump or if a wild grizzly bear doesn't attack.

*how I wish Bear would invite me to his show.. ^^

Quackerlicious

Duck Rice with fellow classmates after class on Friday. It was one of those random suggestion that actually happened. 3 cars tailing each other, from Bangsar all the way to Cheras just to savour ourselves some roasted duck & Char Siew at a restaurant well known for it namely, Restaurant Sun Ming. Ring any bells?

It was already crowded when we got there but still manage to get ourselves settled at a table. There was a long Q for people taking away and every corner is a table full of hungry customers. We didn't wait long for the food though and I sure didn't wait long to dig in because I was starving! We took more than an hour to get to the place due to some dilly-dally, issues, tissues, Friday prayer jam and an unfortunate "incident".

Cichie and Bibie

A.. B.. C.. Deebhan..

JoshuaL the kawaii

Melvin (no idea what he's doing)

In the car..

@ir_ConD: Are we there yet? I swear I have the Balik Kampung feeling de..
JoshuaL: Fun right? Isn't it adventurous?
@ir_ConD: So far! This meal had better be worth it..
JoshuaL: (silently smiling)

After done eating the whole roast duck all by ourselves..

@ir_ConD: (burp*)
JoshuaL: Now isit worth it?!
@ir_ConD: (burp*) owh yea..

AFTER

And so, we head on home feeling content and satisfied. Melvin was kind enough to drop me home since he was going somewhere near my place. Looking forward for the next duck rice adventure but this time, with Yew Eng and Mia who are currently in Melbourne and Korea respectively.
